The momentum is gathering amongst the Rangers Support worldwide, looking at ways to contribute to the club’s current plight and also become involved in the future running of the club.
We would of course like The Dubai Loyal to be a part of that movement and are currently in discussions with The Supporters Assembly, of which we are a member, and The Club around ways in which we can contribute. I will update you on those discussions as they happen. Please let me know if you have any ideas you would like to put forward.
In the meantime, in an attempt to gauge the potential financial support that could be gathered from the support a website has been setup, which is endorsed by The Rangers Supporters Trust and The Rangers Supporters Assembly. There is no money being collected at this time, it is simply about establishing contact and understanding the strength of feeling and willingness to commit in the future – if you would like to have a look at the website please click on the following link: www.saverangers.com .
It was fantastic that Bluenoses everywhere answered the call to make the Killie game a 50,000 sell out which it was. Pubs and clubs across the world were full of Bluenoses who answered the rallying call, and we need you all to do the same again for the Hearts game a week on Saturday.
I have been inundated with fans wanting to help the Club out by donating money to help save the Rangers, but BELIEVE me the most important and immediate way to help Rangers Football Club is by assuring the games from now until the end of the Season are a complete sell out.
The Club needs your financial support more than ever, but what they don’t need is for fans to get the Club into more trouble by singing sectarian songs or chants. The Rangers Support has worked really hard to clean up their image with a great deal of success, what we don’t need is for someone to come along for one game and undo all our hard work.
The team performance last Saturday wasn’t the best, we all know that, but we must keep supporting them, the way we did before during and after the Killie game, it’s what Rangers Fans do best.
These are really tough times for Rangers Fans, Players and Staff at the Club, but we are all right behind the Gers and we will all give 100%.
I would like to send my personal thanks to everyone who has sent messages of support to myself and my colleagues, it is truly appreciated believe me.
We all want to keep our jobs and remain working at this Great Club, but we need your support and help and I am sure you will give it, because we will never Surrender this fight to save the World’s most successful Club.

Bears,
As you may be aware there is a Scotland v England Legends match this Friday: Kick-off 6pm at Jebel Ali.
All the players have arrived today and ex Rangers – Charlie Miller and Alex Rae are in town. They will be in The Stables (above Fibbers) tonight from around 9pm if anyone fancies a beer.
I have spoken to them and hoped to have them stay for Sundays match and come to the Centre Circle but unfortunately they have work commitments and have to fly back to the UK on Sunday.
Hopefully you can make it tonight to the Stables and get a chance to meet up with them.
Cheers
Jim

It was a disappointing result for The Gers at the weekend, particularly with all the support being given from the stand. There was a great crowd in Centre Circle watching the game too.
The Champions need to quickly dust themselves off and get on with the next game away to Inverness Caley on Sunday 26th, kick-off 4.45pm local time in Dubai. The match will be shown live as always in Centre Circle.
If you need some cheering up during these tough times, have a look at the photo’s page on the club website. There have been a lot of new photo’s added showing some happier days. Thanks to Jim Henderson for the photo’s – if you have any you would like posted then send them to me.
‘This is my club, the same as it is for thousands and thousands of Rangers supporters. WE DON’T DO WALKING AWAY!’ – Alistair M McCoist, February 2012.

Unfortunately we can’t all be at Ibrox today supporting OUR team, so let’s do the next best thing and support them in Centre Circle! Game kicks-off at 7pm, be there!
Bears,
The Golf Function on the 16th will start at 7.30pm prompt so please ensure you are there in plenty of time.
There will be a table plan posted at the entrance to the front terrace where the event will take place and Mike Smith will be on hand to receive your 325aed payments.
Please note that if you have not registered for the evening event that this is now closed and no further places can be booked.
All tables will be numbered and each table will have your name on it so please sit at your allocated table.
There will be raffle prizes and an auction which will be carried out after the meal and before the Q & A.
I look forward to seeing you all there and I am sure this will be an excellent event.
DON’T FORGET YOUR JUMPER / PULLOVER / SWEATER / CARDIGAN and in Paul Marks case a BALLACLAVA!
Cheers
Jim
Bears,
I have met with the management at Arabian Ranches and we have agreed that in order to accommodate everyone, the evening function will be on the front terrace which is great news.
As the weather in the evening can still be slightly cold for some may, I suggest that you inform your partners/spouses to bring a jacket or cardigan for the evening.
There will be a table plan posted and I ask that you all adhere to this so we don’t have any mix up. Can I please ask that you send me all the names of your guests so we can prepare the table plan. I also need these numbers guaranteed so that the Ranches can prepare the venue and food.
The evening function will begin at 7.30pm with introductions and then dinner followed by a Q & A with The Goalie and Big Amo, followed by an auction and raffle. The cost for the evening will be 325aed per head.
Please note that collared shirts must be worn, no T Shirts or trainers allowed.
I look forward to seeing you all there.

- Jig Celebrates Scoring Rangers 2nd
I can’t believe I’m writing this but, Lee McCulloch, playing at Centre Forward, was Man Of The Match yesterday as The Champions overcame a shaky start to beat Dunfermline 4-1 yesterday at East End Park.
The other goals were scored by David Healy, Sone Aluko and substitute Selim Kerkar.
Daniel Cousin was watching from the stand yesterday and Ally McCoist hopes to complete the signing next week (although according to a well informed source in Centre Circle yesterday he will need to serve a one match ban after being sent off against The Mendicants in his last game for Rangers).
You can read the match report from today’s Sun by clicking on the link below:
The Champions next game is at home to Kilmarnock on Saturday 18th February. The match will kick off at 7pm and as always will be shown live in Centre Circle.
