CHAMPS STAY TOP

Rangers stay top of the SPL after a 2-0 home victory over Aberdeen yesterday. The Gers started well and deserved to take the lead in the 15th minute thanks to a well finished goal by Captain Steve Davis in the 15th minute (Alan Dearie wins this weeks Golden Goal).

From there it was all downhill and The Champions turned in a very scrappy performance, with Alan McGregor forced to make a number of great saves during a 2nd half which was dominated by Aberdeen. Towards the end of the game Rangers did regain control and Stevie Naismith scored in injury time to clinch the three points and keep the Gers top during next weeks international break.

Alejandro Bedoya Makes His Debut

Next game for The Gers is on Saturday 10th September away to Dundee United. The match kicks off at 3.30pm local time and will be shown live in Centre Circle – Ramadan will be over so it’ll be back to all the usual pre and post match malarky.
