Recently one of our members, Andy MacDonald attended a Rangers Charity Foundation event in Glasgow.
At the event he was speaking with Connal Cochrane who is a Director with the RCF. Connal is doing a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Armed Forces Partnership and if anyone would like to help him out then here are some words from Connal:
“The challenge is taking place on Saturday 3 to Sunday 4 June and will see me walking the length of the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness (79 miles) with an Army Bergen on my back. I’ve got some excellent support from the Royal Navy for the challenge with three Royal Marines and a RN chef (for “refuelling stops!) who will be joining me. All funds raised from the challenge will in for our Armed Forces Partnership which this season is aiming to raise £25,000 for Erskine (£10,000), Poppyscotland (£5,000), the Rifles Regimental Association’s Care 4 Casualities appeal (£5,000) and Combat Stress (£5,000). I will be in touch to let you know how I get on in June.
Sincere Thanks for any help with this”
